Each XRPL Meetup lasts about two hours on a weekday evening and includes speaker sessions on blockchain topics, icebreakers, and open community discussions. Designed to encourage networking and collaboration, meetups are held in accessible venues like universities, startup offices, and restaurants, creating a casual and welcoming atmosphere.
XRPL Commons supports local meetup organizers from our ecosystem by providing sponsorship, XRPL-branded merchandise, and assistance with shaping the agenda, sourcing speakers, and event branding and promotion.
While XRPL Commons helps to set the foundation, the local partner is responsible for handling logistics, securing the venue, and managing on-the-ground coordination to bring the meetup to life. They are also expected to mobilize the local community, involve additional local partners, and ensure the meetup becomes a recurring event—taking place at least once per year. This collaborative model ensures each event remains rooted in the local context while benefiting from the global reach, resources, and expertise of XRPL Commons.
