Glow was created to change that.
Glow is XRPL Commons’ new retroactive funding program: a way for the community to say thank you by recognizing and rewarding the people who make XRPL better.
🌟 Why Glow?
In most funding programs, developers apply with an idea and hope for approval. But some of the most important work happens outside of planned projects:
- Refactoring code nobody sees, but everybody relies on
- Writing docs that help new contributors get started
- Fixing edge cases in core protocol or SDKs
- Building standards that shape the future of XRPL
Glow flips the model. Instead of rewarding promises, it celebrates the impact that already happened.
This means contributors don’t have to pitch or compete — they simply get recognized for meaningful work they’ve done.
